The European Court of Human Rights recenlty decided that it does not consider Pastafarianism a religion. We, the Church of the Flying Spaghetti Monster in the Netherlands, have declared that the verdict of the ECHR in the case de Wilde v. the Netherlands is a Pastafarian Holy Text. Since the verdict will now be studied by law scholars, we hope they will approach it with the reverence it deserves.
Today we sent all law faculties in the Netherlands a Pastafarian Happy Holidays card. By doing so we want to highlight our struggle for equal treatment, and to bring some joy to the otherwise a bit dull lives of law faculties. Join us and let the law faculties of your country know we are serious in wanting our religion to be treated equally with all other religions.
